    Dr. Ji joined the faculty of Keck School of Medicine of USC in 2000. His research interests include cellular organelle (e.g. ER, Golgi, mitochondria, or lysosomes) stress and liver disease, hepatotoxicity of antivirals and alcohol, hyperhomocysteinemia, and nanotechnology in drug/alcohol detoxification. Dr. Ji's research has been supported by NIH, NSF and nonprofit organizations.
    Prior to USC, Dr. Ji obtained his M.S. in Chemical Engineering and became a Faculty member of SJTU (Shanghai) in 1986. He earned his PhD in Biochemistry from UK (Lexington) and completed postdoctoral fellowships at UC (Riverside) and USC (Los Angeles).
