Overview Dr. Nancy Q. Liu is an Assistant Professor of Research Orthopaedic Surgery at USC. Her research is mainly focused on understanding the mechanisms of chondrogenesis, articular chondrocytes maintenance and regeneration, and clinically relevant applications of stem cell and small molecule-based therapies for prevention of arthritis and restoration of damaged articular cartilage. She is involved in the development of various pre-clinical in vivo models for cartilage and bone repair. Dr. Liu is the author of numerous peer-reviewed research articles and presentations. She is also the reviewer for many scientific journals.
