    Luke McKee Wiggins, MD is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine and University of Southern California. He received his medical degree with research honors from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. After medical school, he completed his residency in Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Southern California. He then trained in Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London where he gained experience and published on complex pediatric aortic valve repair and reconstruction techniques. Following this, he returned to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to complete a congenital cardiac surgery fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Vaughn Starnes at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

    Dr. Wiggins’s clinic and research interests include optimizing outcomes of neonatal cardiac surgery and the operative management of congenital heart valve disease in the pediatric population.
