Kyle Bolo, MD, is a clinician scientist and glaucoma specialist at the USC Roski Eye Institute, part of Keck Medicine of USC. He diagnoses and treats patients for a variety of eye diseases and has extensive expertise treating glaucoma and performing cataract surgery.

Dr. Bolo conducts research at the interface of population eye health, bioinformatics, and machine learning. His priorities include investigating the impact of glaucoma on different patient populations and health systems, understanding the effects of glaucoma screening, and modernizing the detection and care of those with and at risk for glaucoma using data-driven and machine learning tools. His work advances a shared focus for promoting reproducible data science research.

Dr. Bolo is also helping to educate the next generation of physicians. He is an assistant professor of ophthalmology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.

Altmetrics Details PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
