    Dr. Wald-Dickler is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and of Population and Public Health Sciences and a lecturer in the USC Keck School of Medicine's Master of Science (MSc) in Global Medicine Program. Dr. Wald-Dickler is also Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Los Angeles General Medical Center where he also serves as Hospital Epidemiologist and Medical Director of Infection Prevention & Control.

    He is active clinical faculty in the Department of Medicine and Division of Infectious Diseases at the Los Angeles General Medical Center, where he also serves as Chair of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and its Antimicrobial Subcommittee. He is the physician director of LA General's Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.

    In addition to previous work in HIV clinical trials, Dr. Wald-Dickler's research interests are varied and include Hospital Epidemiology and practical implementation of Antimicrobial Stewardship with an emphasis on safe transition from IV to oral antibiotics.
