Overview
Dr. Hsiao Chuan Liu's research interests lie in acoustic radiation force-based optical coherence elastography technique, which explores micromechanics of tissues and scaffolds associated with various diseases and tissue engineering, ultrasound shear wave elastography, development of new optical & acoustic integrated system and algorithm, acoustic tweezers to study cellular biomechanical properties, wave theory and numerical simulations, and ultrasound & optical translational development to clinical applications.
