    Dr. Muñoz is a bilingual licensed psychologist who holds an appointment as Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the USC Keck School of Medicine. After receiving a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and a MPH in Maternal and Child Health, she completed an internship and pediatric psychology fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). Currently, she serves as a pediatric psychologist at the CHLA Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism and at the CHLA Behavioral Health Institute. Dr. Muñoz also conducts research targeting behavioral health issues associated with pediatric insulin-treated diabetes. Dr. Muñoz co-developed Teen Power®, a psychosocial program for youth with insulin-treated diabetes and the family. She is also actively involved with the American Diabetes Association on a national and local level.
