Overview Dr. Kulkarni obtained his medical degree from Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College in India. He went on to the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay to obtain a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering. Upon completion, he was appointed as a Huck Institute of Life Science research fellow at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in molecular medicine for two years. He completed his general surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York. Upon completion of his residency in 2010, he completed a two year fellowship in Hepatobiliary Pancreatic Surgery at USC.
