Dr. Michael Karp earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine and continued on to complete his internship and residency training in internal medicine at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident. He is an assistant professor of Clinical Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Dr. Karp is currently the vice-chief of the Division of Geriatrics, Hospital, Palliative and General Internal Medicine. He is the medical director of executive health and the USC-Heritage California Accountable Care Organization. He is board certified in internal medicine.

My belief is the physician and the entire health care team should be dedicated to the patient 365 days a year. We need to not only provide an excellent experience during office visits, but should be monitoring and improving patient’s health in-between visits in order to ensure optimal health. In this way we can maintain the highest levels of quality, safety, access, and satisfaction.
