Meggan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with underserved and high-risk communities. Since 2015, she has been teaching practice courses at the USC Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. Currently, Meggan is pursuing her Doctorate of Social Work (DSW) at Tulane University. Her research interests span a wide range of areas, including harm reduction strategies, stigma (with a specific focus on structural and intervention stigma), chronic homelessness, substance use disorders (SUDs), complex trauma, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), psychedelic-assisted treatment, and social work education.
