Dr. Lisa Hou earned her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Gerontology and Art History from University of Southern California in 2008 and graduated from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry in 2012. She then completed a general practice residency at Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center in Downey, CA where she worked with geriatric, medically complex patients and those with special needs. She obtained a Master of Science in Geriatric Dentistry 2017 and earned a fellowship from Special Care Dentistry Association in 2020.
Dr. Hou currently serves as the director of the USC Dental Mobile Van at Hollenbeck Palms Retirement Community and as Clinical Assistant Professor at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. She is involved in teaching residents of the Geriatric Dentistry Masters of Science and Certificate Programs as well as dental students in Special Patients Clinic. In addition, Dr. Hou is active in organized dentistry serving as the secretary of Geriatric Council of Special Care Dentistry Association and vice president of the local dental society.
