Overview
Lillie Hudson, MSPA, MPH, PA-C, Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine, is a physician assistant and public health practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in African-American Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara; Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences; and Master of Public Health degree, with an emphasis in urban health disparities from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science.
As a physician assistant and public health practitioner, she has served the members of the Los Angeles community in various healthcare settings; federally qualified health center, county “safety-net” hospitals, non-profit wellness and university based student health center. She has participated in multiple community based interventions and hospital based clinical research projects, spanning from a community kitchen to primary and secondary stroke prevention/intervention research projects with high school students, adults and families.
As a Los Angeles native, she is intentional and purposeful to serve in her home community to a people who deserve to live healthy and free of preventable diseases. A motto she models to live by - “The greatest achievements are those that benefit others.”
Hudson has traveled to several international medical mission trips in Ghana, West Africa and the Dominican Republic, in service to all mankind. In her spare time she enjoys mentoring middle and high school students, traveling, practicing her Spanish language and serving on medical mission trips – often all at the same time.
