    Dr. Sohn's major area of research is echocardiography. Her current research includes viderics-ultrasound-based cardiac monitoring device, and a comparative study of transthoracic echocardiogram and transesophageal echocardiogram in measuring inferior vena cava diameter to estimate right atrial pressure.

    Dr. Sohn earned her medical degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine. She then performed her internal medicine internship and residency at Georgetown University Hospital at Washington Hospital Center, followed by a fellowship at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey at Cooper University Hospital.
