    Clarisa Martinez is the clinical research coordinator for Dose Optimization for Stroke Evaluation, an NIH funded Phase 1 clinical trial under Principal Investigators Carolee Winstein and Nicolas Schweighofer. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from USC in 2009. From 2009-2011, she worked in an outpatient physical therapy clinic with individuals who have neurological conditions including stroke. This clinical work led to her research interests in neuroplasticity and neural recovery after stroke.
