    I believe in disease prevention and establishing a therapeutic relationship with patients. I try to partner with patients and assist them in making decisions that will optimize their health. I try to present the facts and evidence that exist and work with the patient depending on their specific needs.

    After finishing her residency in 2002, Dr. Cassetta practiced internal medicine first at Columbia University Medical Center and then at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. She completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at UC San Diego 2011-2012. She then joined the faculty at UCSD practicing primary care and sports medicine. She moved to Los Angeles and joined the USC family in 2014.
