For his outstanding work in education, Dr. Bottros received several awards including the Department of Anesthesiology Teacher of the Year Award and Department of Surgery “Friend of the Surgery Resident Award”. He has also published numerous peer-reviewed scientific papers in the fields of Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology through highly-ranked journal publications and textbook contributions. In addition, he has been invited to speak at over 100 local, national, and international conferences.

His clinical interests include, but are not limited to, treating occipital neuralgia, cervicogenic headache, neck pain, low back pain, failed back surgery syndrome, neuropathy, complex regional pain syndrome, and chronic post-surgery pain. His advanced skill set includes the use of ultrasound, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and vertebral augmentation in treating pain.

He is dedicated to using the full scope of multimodal, interdisciplinary pain management to provide personalized, effective care.
