Dr. Jennifer Shubin is an Associate Professor and Clinical Education Director at the University of Southern California. Dr. Shubin attended Whittier College for her undergraduate and CSULB for her graduate degree in Communicative Disorders (currently Speech Language Pathology). She received her doctoral degree from Chapman University in Education with an emphasis in Disability Studies. Prior to joining the USC faculty, she was a school-based practitioner for students in grades PS-12, a department chair, and served as a Private Schools Coordinator. Dr. Shubin has published in the areas of school-age language and literacy disorders and disability studies. Her focus is on supervision of SLPs and disability as a social, cultural, and political phenomenon.
