Overview Dr.Erica Sigman is a physical therapist at the faculty practice on the HealthScience Campus for the USC Division of Biokinesiolgy and Physical Therapy. Shespecializes in treating patients with headaches, temporomandibularjoint-related issues, orthopedic disorders, and chronic pain. Dr. Sigman isboard certified by the America Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as anOrthopedic Clinical Specialist. She is a member of the Orthopedic Section ofthe American Physical Therapy Association, and serves as the Chair of the LongBeach South Bay District of the California Physical Therapy Association.
Dr. Sigman is an Instructor of Clinical PhysicalTherapy and the Coordinator of the Orthopedic Physical Therapy ResidencyProgram at USC. She is a clinical instructor in the Doctor of Physical Therapyprogram and a primary faculty mentor in the Orthopedic Physical Therapyresidency program. She also assists in teaching physical therapy continuing educationcourses involving the management of temporomandibular joint related disordersand management of the spine with an emphasis on the cervical region. For theKeck School of Medicine of USC, Dr. Sigman instructs the musculoskeletalexamination labs for the Introduction to Clinical Medicine courses. She alsoserves as a physical therapy mentor for dental residents studying oral medicinewith an emphasis on orofacial pain, in the USC School of Dentistry.
