Dr. Zadeh joined Keck USC as a member of our clinical faculty in the department of Cardiac Electrophysiology in April 2019. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He studied at the University of Louisville on full academic scholarship and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received an academic scholarship to continue his studies at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, graduating among the top of his class and earning Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honors. He then relocated to Los Angeles for Internal Medicine Residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, subspecialty fellowship training in General Cardiology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Harbor-UCLA/Good Samaritan Hospital Program.

His clinical practice encompasses over 10 years in the greater Los Angeles area. He performs diagnostic electrophysiology studies to evaluate patients with arrhythmias, as well as curatively treats patients using catheter ablation. This includes patients with ventricular arrhythmias and supraventricular arrhythmias, such as AVNRT, AVRT, atrial tachycardia, atrial flutter and atrial fibrillation. He has gained valuable experience in the treatment of atrial fibrillation using multiple modalities including radiofrequency and pulsed-field ablation technologies. Dr. Zadeh also specializes in the implantation of cardiac devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and biventricular pacemaker/defibrillators. He implants transvenous as well as subcutaneous ICDs, in addition to leadless pacemaker systems contained entirely within the heart.

His expertise has led to implantation of other transvenous devices such as the Cardiac Contractility Modulation (CCM) device (aka Cardiac Optimizer) and a central sleep apnea stimulator implant (Remede device). Dr. Zadeh leads our lead extraction program at USC, capable of removing old pacemaker wires that are malfunctioning or infected. He is the primary investigator on multiple clinical trials at Keck USC, including emerging technologies. He also is a member of our clinical faculty to educate and train both general cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellows.

Dr. Zadeh is fluent in Persian (Farsi) and can communicate effectively in Spanish. He enjoys traveling abroad, hiking, and spending his free time with his family. As a proud alumnus, he is a passionate University of Louisville basketball and football fan (Go Cardinals!).

Altmetrics Details PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
