    Dr. Mindy Lipson Aisen, MD has been a member of the USC Keck Department of Neurology since 2009. She is an accomplished researcher with numerous peer reviewed journal publications, editorials, and books and chapters and has presented to various scientific, medical and academic organizations on topics such as cerebral palsy, advances in neurological rehabilitation, emerging technologies in neuroplasticity, spinal cord injury regeneration, engineering research advances, emerging technologies for persons with disability, advances in clinical management of multiple sclerosis, treatment of chronic pain, etc. She co-chaired the American Scientific Organizing Committee Israel Rehabilitation Medicine Society, was a member of the NIH Council - National Institute Child Health, elected fellow of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering, member of the ex-officio Board of American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, and member of the National Leadership Board VHA and honorary fellow of the Rehabilitation Engineering Society of North America. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and her Doctor of Medicine from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her residency in Neurology at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Aisen is board certified in Neurology and Neurorehabilitation.
