Overview Susan Mendes, MPAP, PA-C, is an Instructor of Clinical Family Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She graduated from the Primary Care Physician Assistant Program at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She is NCCPA board certified and a member of the Pi Alpha Honor Society, recognizing her achievements in academics, leadership, research, and community service. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the California Academy of Physician Assistants. Ms. Mendes specializes in primary care with a focus on disease prevention and management of chronic illnesses. She is also experienced in care for older adults, with a focus on patients residing in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. Ms. Mendes has been an invited lecturer, published author, and continues to be active in community education.
