    Dr. Sing-Wai Wong is the Clinical Research Director and Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry in the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC. Dr. Wong earned his dental degree from Jinan University (2011) and M.S. in prosthodontics from Peking University (2014). He received his Ph.D. degree through a bi-institutional graduate program between the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2019) and National Institutes of Health (2020). He completed an M.S. in Periodontology with a specialty certificate in Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery from the UNC Adams School of Dentistry in 2021.

    Dr. Wong is an awardee of the Educator Scholarship from the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation and of the IADR/Philips Oral Healthcare Young Investigator Research Award from IADR, and a winner of the American Academy of Periodontology Balint Orban Competition and Southern Academy of Periodontology Pennel competition. Dr. Wong’s research interests include bone biology, periodontology, clinical genetics and digital dentistry. He has published over 30 scientific articles in peer-reviewed dental and medical journals and one book chapter.
