      Dr. Robison is affiliated with Children's Hospital Los Angeles and is also an Assistant Director of the USC Center for Neurorestoration. He completed his undergraduate education at the California Institute of Technology and received his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He trained in neurosurgery at the University of Southern California, where he also completed a fellowship in epilepsy surgery. In addition, he completed a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at Seattle Children's Hospital, where he was also an instructor at the University of Washington. He was a fellow in the Clinical Research Training program at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, where he conducted research on novel therapies for pediatric brain tumors and other functional disorders.

      His primary clinical interests are in the management of pediatric epilepsy, spasticity, dystonia, and other functional neurological disorders affecting children. He directs the pediatric epilepsy surgical program as well as the pediatric functional neurosurgery program at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. He conducts both population-based research on pediatric epilepsy and other childhood neurosurgical problems, as well as cutting edge translational research on the use of imaging and innovative surgical treatments for epilepsy and movement disorders.
