    Dr. Priya Mitra, MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology (Clinician Educator) in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Keck School of Medicine. Her clinical practice is split between LAC+USC and Keck Medicine of USC satellite clinics.

    Dr. Mitra received her MD degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed her residency in internal medicine at Boston University Medical Center. Subsequently, she entered and completed her radiation oncology residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Hospital. She has been board certified in internal medicine and is currently board certified in radiation oncology. She was an attending radiation oncologist at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia for nine years where she co-chaired the GYN oncology tumor board and had a special interest in women’s cancers.

    Dr. Mitra’s focus is to teach our residents and medical students at LAC+USC and help lead the GYN brachytherapy program at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton.

    In her spare time, Dr. Mitra enjoys volunteering, international travel, yoga, drawing, and reading.
