    Dr. Han received her dental degree, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Institute of Dental Medicine, Yangon, Myanmar in 2001 and did one year internship at the Institute of Dental Medicine and Sanpya General Hospital in Yangon, Myanmar. She was then awarded a full scholarship from Japanese Government for her graduate studies at Okayama University, Japan. Dr. Han’s PhD studies focused on basic molecular research and surgical oral pathology. Her research was on benign and malignant tumors of the oral cavity for which she received her PhD in Oral Sciences. Dr. Han has published several research articles and case reports in Peer-review international journals, and has lectured and presented her research findings at various professional meetings and conferences. She then attended the two years Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine Residency Program at USC Ostrow School of Dentistry. She got her certificate of completion from the residency program and her American board of Orofacial Pain board certification in 2009. Dr. Han pursued another 2 years clinical study in Advanced Standing Program for International Dentist at USC and awarded the DDS degree in May, 2012. She is now serving as a clinical faculty at the Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC. Dr. Han also gives continual education courses on Geriatric Pharmacology, Common Oral Lesions and Conditions in AIDS patients and lectures on dental treatment modifications necessary for patients with complex medical conditions.
