Overview I am a transplant hepatologist who specializes in caring for patients before and after liver transplantation. My research program is designed to improve health and inform health policy for patients with alcohol-associated liver disease. I have specific interests in clinical study design, disparities in access to healthcare, mechanisms of liver injury by alcohol, novel therapeutic approaches to alcohol-associated hepatitis, and early liver transplantation for alcohol-associated hepatitis.
