      Patjanaporn Sang Chalacheva received her B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2007. Since fall 2008, she has been working toward her Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering at University of Southern California. Her research focuses on the physiological mechanisms that underlie the interactions between cardio-respiratory control, metabolic control and sleep regulation. An offshoot of this research is the development of innovative, low-cost and non-invasive methods for the detection of abnormalities in these systems.
