Overview
Dr. Kevin Phung has a life-long passion for education and is committed to medical student and resident teaching at the University of Southern California. He is currently the Clerkship Director of the OBGYN Clerkship at Keck School of Medicine of USC. He is a two-time winner of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation’s Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award (2014, 2016), as well as the APGO Excellence in Teaching Award (2018). In 2020, Dr. Phung was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society by vote of the Class of 2020 AOA Chapter, and was also the recipient of the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award. He is a graduate of the APGO Surgical Education Scholars Program (2020) and has a special interest in minimally invasive treatment of gynecologic conditions, including hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and robotic surgery.+
