    Kevin Lohenry, PhD, PA-C, joined the Trojan family as Director of the Division of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Southern California in March of 2011 after serving as Director of Midwestern University’s PA program in Glendale, AZ. Prior to working in Arizona Dr. Lohenry was a practicing PA in Internal Medicine providing inpatient and outpatient services to his patients in Wheaton, IL. He also taught with Midwestern University’s Illinois PA program before joining the Arizona program. Dr. Lohenry has served as a Director at Large on the Board of Directors for the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and served as President of the Physician Assistant Education Association in 2011. Dr. Lohenry has received federal grant funding focusing on interprofessional education and practice and several state funded grants focusing on the PA workforce and diversity. He is also the principal investigator for a $2.6 million dollar grant for disadvantaged students. He has published in the Journal of Physician Assistant Education, the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Medical Education Online. Dr. Lohenry is a veteran of the United States Navy.
