    Dr. Adenuga's clinical interests include nephrology. Her research interests include cardiovascular outcomes in CKD, diabetic nephropathy, epidemiology of CKD, management of lupus nephritis and the impact of health literacy on CKD and ESRD outcomes.

    Dr. Adenuga earned her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University and then completed her Masters in Public Health. Dr. Adenuga most recently completed two fellowships at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, one in Nephrology and the other in Nephrology Research.

    Dr. Adenuga's clinical areas of expertise:

    CARDIORENAL CLINIC

    Dr. Adenuga is interested in improving outcomes of patients with cardiorenal syndrome in the critical care setting. She closely cooperates with cardiologists at USC to improve the recovery of kidney function in patients with severe heart dysfunction. She has published and lectured in this field extensively.

    DIABETIC KIDNEY DISEASE

    Dr. Adenuga is interested in preventing and improving the care of patients with diabetic kidney disease. Her care for these patients is focused on slowing the progression of kidney disease and on the appropriate transition to transplantation or renal replacement therapy if needed.
