Fanta Bayoh, APRN, FNP-C is a Clinical Instructor of Family Medicine. She is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles and the Yale University School of Nursing. She completed a clinical training fellowship in Family Medicine with the Institute for Family Health in New York, NY, with an emphasis on urban underserved populations.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Bayoh provides comprehensive primary and preventative care for patients of all ages. She appreciates the specialty of Family Medicine because of its biopsychosocial approach to medicine, its diverse patient population and the continuity of care offered. Family Medicine provides invaluable opportunities for continuous learning through interacting with patients, their families, and their communities.
She is passionate about health equity and advocacy. She also enjoys mentoring underrepresented minority students who are interested in the health professions. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, staying active, and engaging in the arts.
