    Vivian received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from California Institute of Technology in 2001, where she did three years of undergraduate research with Dr. Bruce Hay on apoptotic pathways in Drosophila. As a UCSF Pharmacy student, she worked with Dr. Chen on her Pharmaceutical Sciences Pathway research project. She compared gene expression differences between gemcitabine-resistant and gemcitabine-sensitive pancreatic cancer cells using cDNA microarray. Vivian is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at USC:
