I have been given the gift of working in the HIV/AIDS field since the 1980's. A gift because it was always working on the edge, in diverse settings with multifaceted, complicated, stimulating and exciting issues converging together. The early part of my journey led me to an MSW from UCLA in 1991. From there, my career has taken such wonderful and divergent turns that have given me extensive experience providing direct services to clients, training and clinical supervision to school based interns and pre-licensure clinicians. My realm of clinical work and teaching has been in the areas of Psychotherapy, Clinical Supervision, Case Management, Human Sexuality and HIV/AIDS and other STI prevention, Gay, Lesbian, Transgender issues, Substance Abuse and Intimate Partner Violence. I continue this journey, providing trainings and clinical supervision as well as psychotherapy in a developing Private Practice. Thank you for exploring my page. I hope our paths cross in this work!
